We're hiring a Founding Customer Success Manager to own the relationship with our customers post-sale. You'll onboard new clients, build and configure AI automation workflows, and prove value by running the ROI analysis that turns early deployments into long-term partnerships. The Role
As our Founding Customer Success Manager, you own the relationship with every customer from the moment a contract is signed. You sit at the intersection of operations, analytics, and product: part implementation lead, part trusted advisor, part ROI analyst.
This is not a reactive support role. You will be embedded with customers, mapping their workflows, configuring our AI agents to automate them, and building the business cases that demonstrate impact and drive account expansion.
What You'll Do
Customer Onboarding
- Lead the end-to-end onboarding for new customers, from kickoff through successful go-live.
- Map customer workflows, document requirements, and translate operational complexity into clear automation specs.
- Configure and deploy Clicks AI agents for each customer's specific use case.
Automation Building
- Work directly with customers to build, test, and refine automation workflows.
- Identify edge cases and failure modes in production and drive resolution with the engineering team.
- Iterate rapidly based on customer feedback to improve automation accuracy and reliability.
ROI Analysis and Value Proof
- Build detailed ROI models quantifying cost savings and efficiency gains vs. the customer's prior outsourced or manual operations.
- Track and report on key metrics across each deployment: automation rates, error rates, cost per transaction, and headcount impact.
- Prepare and present business reviews that demonstrate value to economic buyers and justify contract renewals and expansions.
- Translate operational data into compelling narratives that resonate with both finance and operations stakeholders.
Customer Partnership
- Be the primary point of contact for each account, available async (Slack, email) and live (calls, working sessions).
- Translate customer feedback into actionable product input for the engineering team.
- Build playbooks, templates, and documentation to scale onboarding as we grow.
Your Background
Required
- 2-3 years in consulting, account management, customer success, or a similar client-facing role.
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong analytical skills: you can build ROI models, interpret operational data, and present business cases to senior stakeholders.
- Genuine obsession with AI and how it is reshaping the way large organizations operate.
- Excellent communicator: you distill complexity into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by building from scratch.
Strong Candidates Will Also Have
- Experience in management consulting, particularly in operations, transformation, or cost reduction engagements.
- Prior exposure to enterprise back-office functions: revenue cycle, finance ops, HR, or shared services.
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools, RPA platforms, or AI agent products.
- Background working with companies that have significant outsourcing or offshore operations spend.
Compensation and Life at Clicks
Salary $100,000 - $180,000 depending on experience. Equity 0.25% - 1.00%. Meaningful ownership in a well-funded, fast-growing company. Location San Francisco.
