Account Executive (Hunter Role – Live Events)

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Work Model: Hybrid (2–3 days per week in-office)

Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (based on experience)

Gigwell is building the operating system behind live event booking. We work with venues, promoters, festivals, talent buyers, and agents to replace chaos (emails, spreadsheets, PDFs) with a real, purpose-built system built by industry insiders.

This role is built for closers who understand live events or are obsessed with learning the industry fast. If you’ve worked around shows, tours, venues, agencies, or artist teams, you’ll have a serious edge here. If you haven’t, but you’re wired to hunt and win, we’ll teach you the rest.

This Is a Hunter Role (With Industry Cred)

You own revenue. Period.

While there is significant inbound, consistent, targeted outbound is required to win.

The best performers in this role are people who:

  • Understand how relationship-driven the live events world is

  • Can be persistent without being spammy

  • Know how to talk to operators who are busy, skeptical, and allergic to fluff

    If you’ve ever sold into venues, promoters, agencies, or artist teams, this will feel familiar fast.

What You’ll Own

  • Close new revenue by selling Gigwell into venues, promoters, festivals, talent buyers, and booking teams
  • Build pipeline through thoughtful outbound, warm follow-ups, referrals, and industry-driven outreach
  • Run consultative sales conversations that show a real understanding of how shows get booked and managed
  • Own the full sales cycle from first touch to signed deal
  • Build long-term relationships in a relationship-first industry
  • Maintain a clean, honest pipeline with accurate forecasting

Who Thrives Here

  • You have 3+ years of closing experience, ideally in SaaS, ticketing, media, hospitality, or music-adjacent sales
  • You may have worked in or around:
    • Booking agencies
    • Venues or promoter teams
    • Festivals or live events
    • Artist management or touring
    • Music tech, ticketing, or entertainment SaaS
  • You’re competitive, resilient, and comfortable hearing “not now” without losing momentum
  • You don’t need the product spoon-fed to you — you want to master it
  • You care about live events and want to sell something you actually believe in

Industry experience is not required, but passion for live events and a willingness to learn the ecosystem is critical!

Tools & Skills

  • Strong consultative selling and objection-handling skills
  • Experience using a CRM (Salesforce, BASE, or similar)
  • Comfortable running demos and presentations over Zoom and in person
  • Organized, disciplined, and relentless about follow-up
