Why Lamar Health?
What we do: We take care of shitty paperwork for very expensive drugs.
Location: On-site in San Mateo, CA
Type: Employee (Full-Time)
Compensation: Competitive + high-leverage mission
Our CEO worked on the AI model for the COVID Pfizer vaccine. Our CTO built an AI model for optimizing claims used by most cancer clinics in the US today. We’re a good fit for someone who wants their work to matter — deeply and wants to move fast.
About Lamar Health
Lamar Health is building modern infrastructure for delivery of specialty medications — helping care teams, clinics, and patients connect seamlessly through intelligent software. Our mission is to bring speed, clarity, and coordination to a space that’s too often fragmented and slow.
We work with leading healthcare organizations to reimagine how technology supports care delivery — from data integration to patient experience. Every deployment matters because it directly affects how real people access care.
About the Role
As a Sales Coordinator / Sales Development Representative at Lamar Health, you’ll be responsible for building the connective tissue between marketing, inbound interest, and our go-to-market operations. This role is for someone who thrives in structure-building: setting up CRM systems, designing workflows, deploying nurture campaigns, and making sure nothing — and no customer — slips through the cracks.
You’ll operate as an amplifier for sales and marketing: making our processes sharper, our communications more consistent, and our pipeline more predictable.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain CRM workflows that ensure clean data, clear handoffs, and traceable pipeline.
- Design drip campaigns and nurture sequences for inbound leads (email, marketing automation, touch cadences).
- Qualify inbound interest, follow up reliably, and schedule conversations with prospects and customers.
- Create playbooks and documentation so processes can be repeated, measured, and improved.
- Write crisp, enterprise-appropriate customer comms (email, follow-ups, briefs, summaries).
- Track pipeline metrics and provide visibility to leadership around funnel performance and lead quality.
- Collaborate with sales and customer teams to translate feedback from the field into insights.
- Continuously improve GTM operations, adjusting workflows, copy, and tactics based on performance and outcomes.
Who You Are
- You are deeply organized and find satisfaction in turning chaos into repeatable workflows.
- You are curious — you ask why things work the way they do and proactively fill in gaps.
- You write clean, professional, and enterprise-friendly copy without sounding robotic.
- You’re comfortable building process where none exists.
- You care about data hygiene and operational clarity.
- You can juggle inbound leads while keeping the pipeline moving.
- You enjoy being operationally close to customers and their needs.
- You don't need to be told twice to follow up — diligence is your default.
- You understand that every touchpoint shapes the credibility of the company.
Bonus Points
- Prior sales ops, SDR, marketing ops, coordinator, or CS coordination experience
- Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Experience creating playbooks, SOPs, drip campaigns, or automated workflows
- Exposure to healthcare, B2B SaaS, or regulated industries
