Build the future of wire harness manufacturing

About Loombotic

We're reimagining how wire harnesses are manufactured. Backed by Y Combinator, we're on a mission to build the world's first fully automated wire harness factory.

Wire harnesses are the nervous systems of everything from EVs to aircraft to data centers. Despite being a $200B+ market, manufacturing is still surprisingly manual and inefficient. We're changing that through building robotics and automation.

The Role

As our founding Technical Program Manager, you'll own the end-to-end flow of quoting for non-standard harness requests, procurement, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), and production. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you'll turn customer needs into delivered wire harnesses, optimizing for speed and cost in our automated factory.

You'll be the glue between customers, engineers, suppliers, and production—driving projects from quote to ship with precision.

What You'll Do

  • Handle quoting for non-standard harness requests - Analyze custom customer specs, generate accurate quotes, and close deals
  • Manage procurement - Source wires, connectors, and parts; negotiate with suppliers for best pricing and lead times
  • Lead DFM reviews - Analyze designs for automation compatibility, provide feedback to optimize manufacturability
  • Oversee production - Schedule runs, track progress on robotic lines, and resolve blockers
  • Track and report - Monitor KPIs (costs, timelines, yields) and implement process improvements
  • Collaborate daily - Partner with engineers, technicians, and sales to scale operations

Required Skills

  • Proven experience managing projects in manufacturing or supply chain
  • Strong organizational skills with tools like Asana, Jira, or Excel
  • Technical aptitude to understand wire harness designs and automation
  • Excellent communication for customer quotes and team coordination
  • Analytical mindset for cost analysis and bottleneck spotting
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments

Nice-to-Have's

  • Background in wire harness, electronics, or custom manufacturing
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) or procurement tools
  • Knowledge of DFM principles and lean manufacturing
  • Supply chain certifications (e.g., CPIM)
  • Startup experience wearing multiple hats

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary - Commensurate with experience
  • Direct impact - Own our operational engine as we scale
  • Career growth - Path to Head of Operations or specialized leadership
  • Skills development - Master AI automation, supply chain, and program management
  • Build something meaningful - Revolutionize a massive industry

Who You Are

You're the kind of person who:

  • Loves orchestrating complex projects end-to-end
  • Spots inefficiencies and builds better systems
  • Balances customer needs with operational reality
  • Communicates clearly to keep everyone aligned
  • Thrives building a company from the ground up
