About Tennr:
Today, when you go to your doctor and need to be referred to a specialist (e.g., for sleep apnea), your doctor sends a fax (yes, in 2024, 90% of provider-provider communication is a 1980s fax). These are often converted into 20+ page PDFs, with handwritten (doctor’s handwriting!) notes, in thousands of different formats. The problem is so complex that a person has to read it, type it up, and manually enter your information. Tennr built RaeLM™ (7B—trained on 3M+ documents) to read these docs, talk to your doc to ensure nothing is missed, and text you to help schedule your appointment so you can get better, faster.
Tennr is a NYC-based tech company that launched out of Y-Combinator and is backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Foundation Capital, The New Normal Fund, and other top investors.
About the role:
We’re looking for a Product Manager who is deeply curious about our customers (healthcare providers), is fluent in data, and passionate about solving real problems in healthcare. You’ll play a key role in defining what we build and why — partnering across design, engineering, implementation, and Machine Learning to drive product development from insight to outcome.
- Know our customer better than anyone — their workflows, frustrations, and what they care about
- Translate ambiguous problems into structured product initiatives with clear KPIs
- Analyze data to uncover patterns, validate hypotheses, and measure outcomes
- Partner with our Implementation and Solutions teams to deeply understand how providers use our platform day to day
- Drive roadmap development and execution across cross-functional teams
- Communicate clearly with executives and peers, balancing technical detail with business context
- Make the complex simple — in product design, decision-making, and storytelling
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally in a B2B SaaS company
- Direct experience working with (or building for) healthcare providers
- Demonstrated ability to use data to guide decisions, not only gut feel
- Experience defining and tracking success metrics tied to business goals
- Clear communicator who builds trust and alignment across teams
- Likeable and collaborative — people want to work with you
- Strong understanding of the healthcare market or willingness to learn fast
- Bonus: experience in healthcare tech, workflow automation, or AI/ML products
