Founding engineer (full stack)

We are hiring for a frontend-leaning founding engineer. We will also consider people with no job experience. We require that you work at least 50% of your time in-person in Bratislava, Slovakia.

MediSearch (YC S23) is a search engine for medical information. We provide direct answers to medical questions based on trustworthy sources using LLMs.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Founding Developer at MediSearch. The role is quite versatile, more on the frontend side of things, but may include some backend work as well. The role includes coding frontend, creating designs, and collaborating with back-end engineers to deliver features and optimize existing systems. This is a hybrid role, based in Bratislava, Slovakia, with some flexibility for remote work, but will require significant on-site involvement.

Qualifications

• Front-End Development and Web Development skills
• Proficiency in React and Next.js
• Experience with UI/UX design is a plus
• Experience with backend development in Python is a plus
• Experience with Android / iOS development is a plus
