You’ll be working closely with our founders, early team, and prospects. We are looking for someone who has a deep understanding the API market and experience with enterprise software sales. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys selling technical products and working at an early stage startup. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Coast. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities. Coast works with VC-backed startups, and fortune 500 companies, across financial services, insurance, communications and healthcare.
What You Will Do
- Full cycle sales: prospecting, qualifying leads, moving those leads through the funnel and closing new business.
- You’ll target specific accounts, go to conferences and also do higher volume outreach.
- Build strong relationships with prospective clients.
- Diligently track and report sales metrics and KPIs.
- Lead discovery, structure POCs, negotiation and more
Requirements
- Located in New York, New York and able to work in office 5 days a week
- Must have experience working with or selling an API and/or technical products
- 6+ years in enterprise SaaS sales with high achievement and quota attainment
- Successful track record of closing 6-figure+ enterprise deals
- Previous AE or SE at an API-first company is a huge plus
- Early sales hire or ex-founder is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
