⚙️ Engineering at Peakflo

We are looking for passionate backend engineers to build high-quality, fault-tolerant distributed systems and integrate them with external systems. As an intern, you will play a key role in ensuring our services are scalable and reliable.

Our backend is built using Node.js and utilizes Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies.

💪 What you’ll do

• Work directly with the CTO & Founder to help shape our product and culture.
• Design, develop, and implement new backend features and services.
• Integrate our systems with external third-party financial solutions.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve system issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
• Continuously learn and improve your backend development skills.

💻 What we’re Looking For:

• Hands-on experience with Node.js & typescript (must have).
• Strong enthusiasm for software engineering, specifically backend.
• A computer science degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong English language skills to communicate complex ideas and abstractions to the team effectively.
• Internship experience building distributed cloud systems using serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions).
• Have a proven track record of contributing to backend systems.

• Hands-on experience with asynchronous backend jobs.
• Favor regular, incremental delivery over perfection and have experience balancing high quality with incremental delivery.
• Brings strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Have experience working in a startup environment
