Job Description
We are looking for a React Native Software Engineer to join our product engineering team. This person will work closely with product designers and back-end engineers to build high-quality mobile applications used by our members, providers, & internal admins.
About the Product
Our mobile apps are all built using React Native, providing a seamless and engaging experience for our members. The backend stack uses full-stack TypeScript with the RedwoodJS framework. Our backend GraphQL API uses Prisma ORM and PostgreSQL for data persistence and integrates with a range of third-party APIs. The mobile apps interact with the backend through GraphQL, ensuring efficient and secure data communication.
Requirements
- Clear communicator and open collaborator
- 3+ years experience working with React Native
- Deep experience with mobile app development and responsive design
- Experience with the full mobile app development lifecycle, including deploying apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude towards fixing issues
- Ability to rapidly prototype & iterate in order to refine UI/UX
- Comfortable working with non-technical team members and coming up with solutions (we want to collaborate, not dictate)
- Nice to have: Experience with GraphQL, Figma, & Expo
