Gander is building the next generation of AI technology for the aviation industry (more on usegander.com). Our products help commercial airlines automate their customer facing workflows and make flying fun again. We are looking for a founding engineer to build new products from 0 to 1. This role will be absolutely critical to the success of Gander and as such will get significant equity (up to 5%) and significant responsibility for product execution. This role will also be customer and investor facing, getting to work directly with our customers and key-stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:

Create Great Software: Take product requirements and turn them into beautiful, reliable, and high quality software

Product Development: Lead end-to-end technical execution and receive full ownership of the software development lifecycle

System Architecture: Design and implement the architecture and tech stack that will serve as the backbone for our platform. Balance scalability, speed, and reliability.
Key Requirements

Evidence of End-End Product Ownership: Experience building all parts of software from front-end to back-end to cloud deployment

Adaptability: Quickly and iteratively respond to needs of customers and turn product changes around on tight timelines

AI: Strong understanding of how to implement and train AI systems into SaaS products and willingness to learn and adapt to building voice agent
