The Role: Sales Visionary and AI-Powered Execution Expert
As our Founding AE, you'll be the driving force behind Persana AI's market penetration and revenue growth. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll:
• Architect and execute our sales strategy from the ground up
• Generate your own pipeline efficiently using AI-powered prospecting tools to find and qualify new leads
• Leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to automate and optimize the prospecting process
• Own the entire sales cycle (15-45 days) for high-value deals
• Engage in multi-threaded conversations with C-suite executives and business leaders
• Build and manage a high-performance pipeline
• Partner with the CEO to standardize and optimize our sales processes
• Negotiate complex contracts with 5-6 figure ACVs
• Build demo workflows for prospects and be the prompting and workflow building expert
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align product development with market needs
• Serve as a cultural cornerstone, embodying our values of innovation, integrity, and customer-centricity
• Continuously refine and optimize AI-driven prospecting and outreach strategies
The Ideal Candidate
We're seeking a rare blend of strategic thinking, technical acumen, and sales excellence. You should have:
• 3+ years of quota-crushing experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in the sales tech space
• Proven track record of success in early-stage startups (Seed to Series B)
• Expert at using AI and prospecting tools to efficiently find and engage new leads
• Proficient in using and setting up AI and sales tooling like Hubspot, Instantly, Smartlead, Persana, email warming, email copywriting, and ChatGPT
• Hands-on experience with AI outbound tools and prospecting platforms
• Demonstrated ability to sell complex, technical products to sales and marketing teams
• Expert-level understanding of modern sales methodologies and tools
• Strong grasp of the Sales AI/ML landscape, particularly in the Gen AI / LLM space
• Exceptional communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for action and continuous improvement
• Deep understanding of the sales tech ecosystem and its evolving trends
• Proven ability to build and manage a robust sales pipeline through efficient prospecting
