Athina is building an IDE to enable the development of AI-powered products.
We are on a mission to build the new stack for AI product teams. This means defining how teams will prototype, experiment, train, evaluate and monitor GenAI products.
The next decade will enable AI-powered products and features that are radically different from the software we have been building until now.
This is an open-domain unsolved problem, and we’re looking for tinkerers, hackers, and creatives who want to build the toolkit for the next decade of software.
Minimum requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a UX Designer
- Experience creating beautiful, and functional designs
Ideal requirements:
- You are excited about GenAI and have been tinkering
- Ability to understand deeply technical problems
- You are excited about the challenge of figuring out unsolved problems
- You are based in SF, or willing to relocate

- We're a small team, so we’re looking for someone who can tackle complex problems end-to-end. GenAI product development is an open domain problem, and requires a lot of creativity, tinkering and experimentation.

What you will be doing
The job is not to create Figma mockups. The job is to create a product that solves the problem and delights users.
- Ideating and brainstorming solutions to complex problems
- Speaking to users to understand the problem at a deeper level
- Building wireframes and prototypes to test ideas rapidly
- Creating high-fidelity UX mockups
- Creating graphic-design assets for product marketing
