The Role
Chariot is looking for a product engineer to help us develop, prioritize, and make data-driven decisions along our multiple product lines:
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with business goals and market demands for the products that you own
- Leverage your technical background to deeply understand the complexities of our products, including architecture, development processes, and technical constraints
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines key milestones, timelines, and dependencies
About You
- 3+ years of experience in client-facing engineering/product role
- Be highly proficient working with web technologies including HTML, JS, React and Vue
- Experience with SQL, REST APIs, and data analytics.
- Strong technical background, with a deep understanding of software development processes and technologies.
- Passion for startup culture with a strong ability to take ownership and operate independently
- First-principled thinker who is able to communicate opinions clearly, and willing to be convinced otherwise through thoughtful discourse
- Previous work in fintech, payments, and the nonprofit sector is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in a technical field, but we understand great engineers come from all sorts of different backgrounds and also consider relevant work experience.
