Head of Product / Senior Product Manager (Monetization)

About Us:

Hyper is the top VTubing app on the iOS App Store in the United States. Build an avatar and use it with AI or motion capture to become a VTuber on Twitch and YouTube. We’re a tiny team of about 7 people full-time looking for our first product manager to help run the monetization of our platform. This ranges from avatar sales, to live-streaming tips to creators, and monetizing our upcoming desktop studio tool.

Our goal is to build the ultimate avatar app for all kinds of creators: VTubers, AI VTubers, anons, storytellers, and more.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Head of Product/Senior Product Manager to drive our monetization strategy. You will develop and execute strategies to optimize revenue. You should be familiar with all types of monetization and their levers: mobile gaming monetization, tool monetization, creator monetization, platform monetization, and so-on. While this will be your first focus, you should have great product intuition with a proven track-record of executing on features, campaigns, and projects related to the growth of a business.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive monetization strategy for our mobile and desktop platforms.

• Analyze user data and feedback to identify revenue opportunities.

• Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams for product launches and updates.

• Optimize in-app purchases, subscription models, and other revenue-generating features.

• Monitor and report on monetization performance, adjusting strategies as needed.

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in mobile gaming, VTubing, and startups.

• Foster a culture of ownership, urgency, and excellence within the product team.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in product management with a focus on mobile gaming monetization.

• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Experience in a startup environment is a plus.

• Understanding of VTubing and live-streaming communities is beneficial.
