The Job
In this role, you will be a part of a team that oversees, leads and grows the broader Project Management team in line with the growth of business and market needs.
You will be responsible for :
Providing delivery of and against continuing and new development initiatives, including the interaction with internal and external stakeholders
Working with cross-functional teams to maintain ongoing programs of work that continually improve and increase success in the region
Ensuring programs & projects adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements that protect the company and its customers
Developing clear and measurable outcomes for program and project deliveries
Regularly reporting progress and re-incorporating results to improve the next cycle of development within the Tech Team and the broader business of the company
The Profile
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
You have at least 7 years of experience working in various facets of the information technology industry and have managed development teams in the software development area
You have proven experience in developing and delivering against IT programs and projects
You have sound knowledge of iterative development methods, including Rational Unified Process, Agile Development and other such software development methods
You have knowledge or experience in PCI Compliance or other compliance frameworks
You have experience with software languages such as Java and infrastructures such as AWS
Exposure to transactional or financial systems will be an advantage
You ideally have a background in technical IT roles such as IT architecture, development or operations, with a clear interest in information technology
You have proven experience in vendor and contract management
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
You hold yourself to highest standards of personal integrity
You have the ability and capacity to “own” the role and the business that the role is responsible for
You adopt a mature and process-oriented approach
