Besides being a multi-billionaire internet mogul and future martial arts film star, Alibaba Group founder Jack Ma can now strike out "recording artist" from his bucket list.
Ma published the audio recording to a duet he recorded with iconic Chinese singer, Faye Wong, whilst he was in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. The duet, entitled "Feng Qing Yang," is created as the signature tune for Ma's impending Tai Chi film, "Gong Shou Dao."
While netizens remarked that Ma's voice ought to be erased off the song, Ma joked that fans would get accustomed to his vocals if they just listened longer.

The debut of the audio track released just days prior to Alibaba's infamous Singles' Day on November 11, which happens to also be the launch of Ma's movie, "Gong Shou Dao." The martial arts themed movie is scheduled to release on video-streaming website, Youku, on Singles' Day.
Singles' Day initially started as an anti-Valentine's Day event among Chinese youths, but has turned into a mega e-commerce celebration on the mainland. According to Alibaba, it recorded 120.7 billion yuan ($18.2 billion) in total merchandise volume in year 2016, a 32% increase as compared to 2015.
