SportsPlay Inaugural Futsal Tournament, to be held at Ferro Futsal Subang Jaya on Saturday, March 25th2017 at 10am onwards, aims to bring Malaysia’s Tech Ecosystem players together for a healthy sporting event outside of their daily work. This aims to generate awareness in the tech scene to show tech companies are made from more than just great ideas, new technology and code. This tournament allows tech companies team member to showcase their personal sporting talents and compete to be crowned Malaysia’s tech ecosystem futsal champion.
The tournament will feature 8 of Malaysia’s tech ecosystem players and is shaping up to be an exciting tournament with teams from Grab, Fave, Kaodim, MAGIC, CRADLE, GoGet, SoftSpace & SportsPlay. This tournament is set to showcase players' passion, people and teamwork, with the tournament encouraging them to put all of these together to achieve victory. The format will be round-robin in 2 groups of 4 teams initially, before the top 2 in the groups progressing to final round of cup format. SportsPlay intends to create more interesting sporting events for tech companies, startups and investors in the upcoming months. Supporters are more than welcome to join us at court-side to see the action live.
The “SportsPlay Inaugural Futsal Tournament” is an amateur futsal tournament established to promote sports activities amongst the local sports and local tech companies. Held at Ferro Futsal in Subang Jaya, Selangor, the tournament is organised by SportsPlay, a smart digital sports platform which aims to solve various challenges within the sports industry. This tournament is also supported by relevant parties like Gatorade, BEAM, Startup Mamak, MVP Marketing and Evolve Lifestyle.
Champions are not the ones who always win races, but the ones who just get out there and try. We hope to bring fun experiences in the sports field for the Tech Ecosystem players to come together. We hope to create a new experiences for the participants for them to treasure the time spend in the field & it’s the experience that all matters.
