Following the footsteps of the Investor Connect events held in the previous months, BEAM today announced the availability of it's Investor Connect Online platform, a feature allowing entrepreneurs to easily submit fundraising requests with investors directly via the BEAM website or mobile app.

The goal is to enable more startups across South East Asia to connect more effectively with investors to raise capital for their businesses, and to bring greater accessibility of startup investments to investors online.

About Investor Connect Online

How it works is really simple - Entrepreneurs simply fill up a short (fundraising request) online form after creating a company profile on the BEAM website or app. 

Some basic company performance information (traction data) and presentation deck is collected upon submission.

The system then automatically generates an investment report of these companies, which are then made accessible to verified investors on the BEAM platform. Information submitted is stored privately and not disclosed to anyone other than investors.

Investors can then easily tap a button to notify the entrepreneur(s) if they wish to meet up with them to pursue the investment deal further. The system will then send a push notification (and email) to these entrepreneurs to notify them of the investor's interest to meet. 

BEAM has also been holding regular Investor Connect speed-dating events to allow more entrepreneurs to get to know investors better. Some of the past attendees include investors from KKFund, Tri5 Ventures, RIMU Group, SEGNEL Ventures, COENT Partners, TinkBig Ventures, GREE Ventures, and many more.
