Hong Kong-based gaming and software company, Animoca Brands, has partnered with venture accelerator firm, Brinc to launch the Guild Accelerator Program, focusing on expanding the global play-to-earn (P2E) ecosystem.
Guild Accelerator Program
- The program will invest up to US$500,000 per guild and will be led by entrepreneur-in-residence at Animoca Brands, Richard Robinson.
- Animoca and Brinc will provide a total investment of up to US$30 million over the next two years for the program.
- The program aims to enable millions of people globally to generate income via P2E crypto gaming.
- According to the statement, priority of a guild’s admission will be based on their commitment to sustainability, including projects that support and give back to player or scholar communities, emphasising on "energy-efficient proof-of-stake protocols and side chains", as well as having lower overall physical footprints.
- The program will be hosted on Launchpad Luna, an accelerator launched as a collaboration between Animoca Brands and Brinc.
- Applications for the program are open till 27th February on Brinc's website.
