Hepmil Media Group, a Singapore-based startup best known for the SGAG, MGAG, and PGAG media channels, has just raised $10 million in a series A funding round.
The round was led by Quest Ventures, Pavilion Capital, and Bent Pixels.
Hepmil Media was founded by Karl Mak, who presently serves as the media group's CEO.
Prior to starting Hepmil, Karl co-founded Televate, a cloud-based software solutions company.
Since its inception, Hepmil Media Group has grown from a small team of 3 to over 100 employees.
The company's media channels reach over 30 million people each week, producing some of the most influential content in the Southeast Asian region.
With the fresh funds, the company plans to expand its presence across the region, and to solidify themselves in the markets they're in — Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Manila.
