In an effort to support startups during this challenging period, KK Fund, together with MDEC and BEAMSTART, have launched an initiative to further connect Malaysian entrepreneurs with regional investors online.

The initiative, dubbed Meet Your Match Malaysia, is an online investor matching initiative participated by over 50 regional investment companies with a collective pool of funding potentially exceeding $2 billion.

Some of the participating investors include 500 Startups, Betatron, GGV Capital, Golden Gate Ventures, Kejora Ventures, Monk's Hill Ventures, RHL Ventures, STRIVE, Spiral Ventures, and many more, funding startups across the Seed to Series B stages.

Interested startups can submit their applications via an online form between 3rd of April to 17th April 2020.

The list of applications will then be sent to investors, who will then arrange for an online pitching session with the startups(s) should they be a suitable match.

This initiative was initially launched by KK Fund in Thailand, which saw an overwhelming response from the startup community there.

KK Fund’s Founder and General Partner, Koichi Saito believes that startups and investors matching should continue to be carried out despite the worsening global situation, and encourages startups to take full advantage of this opportunity and move to greater heights.
