Gojek would pay about $30 million for this acquisition, implying the value of Blue Bird at about $600 million.

The deal marks one of the latest investments for Gojek, which is the most valuable startup in the country, as it expands in areas such as food delivery and digital payments.

The deal is based on the partnership that has been started by both companies since 2017.

In 2017, Gojek and Blue Bird launched the Go-Blue Bird feature in the Gojek app to boost the welfare of drivers and improve services.

This feature contributes to escalating the quality of service as it is now more convenient for Blue Bird users to reach the service.

The government fully supports this collaboration in terms of usage of technology, especially in the transportation sector.
