MEGPlay, the gaming community startup focused on bridging brands with gamers, has raised USD 6-figure seed funding from TBV Capital and angel investors.

Founded in early 2019 by Constance Lim, MEGPlay started out as a community platform that rewarded gamers for participating in esports/gaming-related activities sponsored by brands.

The MEGPlay app — Gamers can participate in brand-sponsored gaming activities, allowing them to get rewarded while playing with their friends.

To date, MEGPlay presently works with various brands and SME companies such as BigPay, AirAsia, Asus, and more.

The company has also engaged over a hundred thousand gamers through their online campaigns across Malaysia and Indonesia, with engagement rates surpassing 50% for some of their campaigns.

With the injection of new funds, MEGPlay aims to grow it's community to surpass 250,000 users, as well as increase annual revenues to surpass RM1 million by providing a broader range of solutions to help brands build closer relationships with gamers.
