BCB Blockchain commits to $300,000 funding for Philippine’s startups as it signed a memorandum of agreement with the Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development.

Through accelerators and incubators, the partnership between BCB Blockchain and the government will boost the development of startups and smart city in the country.

Prior to partnering with the government, BCB Blockchain had been collaborating with tech incubators and universities across the country on research and development, training, hackathons, and competitions to develop blockchain projects and apps for smart cities.

Department of Science and Technology Executive Director, Dr. Enrico C. Paringit said:

“We hope that this partnership will ignite the next wave of applications and innovations for the development of sustainable and smart cities.”
