The food & beverage (F&B) software startup, Mobikon, raised $11.28m in series B round led by Binny Bansal, the co-founder of Flipkart.

Mobikon is moving towards becoming a data exchange platform, after testing the new space for over a quarter — it was primarily a consumer engagement platform for restaurants since 6 years ago.

It sees multiple collaboration on its platform with the likes of Lite Bite Foods, Gajalee, and Yellow Banana, international brands like Bistro, Gerry’s Grill, and Swensens.

According to its founder and CEO, Samir Khadepaun, Mobikon will use the capital to expand its market reach to Australia and Indonesia, while also investing in data science team and integration framework to amplify value creation for restaurants by utilizing data insights and open AI platforms.
