OpenMinds Resources, the digital consulting agency based in Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong has announced the launch of a new program focused on educating the masses about digital marketing.

Since it's inception, OpenMinds has focused on helping people understand tech development, digital marketing, and data analytics better, with many long-term projects with notable brands such as Bosch, SOGO, Sime Darby and CIMB Bank.

The recently turned 7 year old company is now expanding it's services to include education, primarily to cater to an increasingly digital-focused business world.

The education programs will be conducted under the sister company: OpenAcademy.

“As of late, we have been placing quite a bit of focus on an enterprise level technology solution for a behemoth palm oil plantation company to help improve productivity, efficiency and accuracy at the trade level, marking our first foray into the commodity trading industry. But despite the commitment we have to our clients, we always set aside time to nurture people, contribute towards education, and to give back to startups,” said Jan Wong, who is the founder of OpenMinds and listed on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia in 2017.

The 3-day workshop spans across topics such as digital marketing, social media, coding, digital content development, technology development, and business transformation through technology — topics that are closely associated to OpenMinds’ experience and expertise within the industry.

The 3-day digital marketing workshop will run from the 16th to the 18th of October where participants will learn from industry experts and practitioners in the field, organised by OpenAcademy.
