Firefly to resume flights to Singapore again real soon. | BEAMSTART News

After 4 months of suspension due to disputes between Malaysia and Singapore,  Firefly airline will resume its services to Singapore.

Both Malaysia and Singapore have reached an agreement after previous disputes pertaining to air issues.

Transport Ministers Anthony Loke and Khaw Boon Wan.

Flights are expected to resume from the week of April 22nd.

"In the spirit of bilateral cooperation", Singapore will withdraw the Instrument Landing System (ILS) procedures for Seletar Airport, and Malaysia will indefinitely suspend its permanent restricted area over Pasir Gudang", mentioned transport ministers Khaw Boon Wan and Anthony Loke.

Firefly was estimated be losing up to SGD $6.6 million (RM20 million) each month due to the flight suspensions.
