We are looking for a QA Associate to join our small and highly collaborative team. We’re constantly learning ways to make the business even better, so we need someone comfortable with iterative development and (sometimes) loosely defined requirements. As one of our first engineering hires, you will have a chance to shape both the products we build and the engineering culture, as well as have a lasting impact on the entire business. Our growth will go hand in hand with your success.
Experience / Skills
- 3+ years experience in a testing role / function
- Experience working in an agile development process
- An eye for product design and interactivity
- Nice to have:
- Production experience with e-commerce / 2-sided marketplace experience would be ideal
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- working knowledge of SQL
Responsibilities
- Participate in Backlog refinements, along with Engineering and Product team, and provide early input around possible quality issues.
- Define and implement test strategies across multiple projects
- Execute manual testing along with the developers to validate the quality before releasing.
- Work within the engineering team to choose the right tools to measure and enforce code quality
