Anyone doing Vibe coding? How do you usually do it?

I'm keen to learn how to use vibe coding to build apps.

I'm not a programmer but keen to learn.

Appreciate any steps/feedback on how to go about this.

Hey Rika,

I’ve been trying out Vibe Coding too. Honestly, the best way is just to dive in. Start with one of the ready templates (like a simple task app) and tinker around.

You’ll pick things up faster when you actually build something. You can try out services like Bolt.new to start off.

What worked for me:

  • Keep the first project really small.

  • Don’t stress about “coding,” just play with the blocks and settings.

  • Test as you go, it’s quite fun seeing things work instantly.

Over time you’ll naturally understand the logic behind it. Once you get that “aha” moment, building apps becomes way easier.

It used to take me weeks or even months to build out a working prototype, constantly wrestling with frameworks, debugging endless errors, and setting up the right tools just to get something functional.

Now with vibe coding, the process feels almost effortless 😂 — I can sketch out an idea, drop into a flow state, and watch the code take shape in real time without overthinking every technical detail.

Instead of stressing over docs or trying to get everything perfectly structured from the start, vibe coding lets me just go with my gut and be creative. I kind of follow the “vibe” of the project — testing stuff out, tweaking things, and switching directions on the fly — and it makes the whole process feel way more fun and natural. Honestly, some of my best ideas have popped up during those random late-night sessions where I just let things flow without overthinking.

The best part of it is the speed. Tasks that once drained my energy and took endless planning now happen naturally in hours or even minutes. It’s not just about faster development — it’s about enjoying the process, discovering unexpected solutions, and building projects that feel authentic rather than forced.

There are many software you can use in the market, ranging from Bolt, Cursor, Lovable, Base44, etc.. Find what works for you. I usually use Bolt to get started, and Cursor to improve the app.

Hope this helps.... just my 2 cents.
