SME owners looking to diversify their investment portfolios into technology companies now have a new avenue to do so.
Persatuan Usahawan Maju Malaysia (PUMM), a non-profit organization that supports entrepreneurs announced today that a dedicated matchmaking session to bridge fundraising technology startups and SME leaders will be held at the upcoming Entrepreneur Day conference happening this 10th November.
The matchmaking session will be coordinated in the form of a 1-1 pitch between technology startup founders and SME owners seeking to expand or diversify their business.
The Entrepreneur Day conference is a full day conference featuring exhibitions, knowledge sharing workshops, investor matching sessions, and pitching competitions with prizes of up to RM500,000.
The goal is to help bridge more entrepreneurs to opportunities and to facilitate potential investments between SMEs and technology startups.
Some of the special guests for the conference include Mr Cheng Swee Peng, Senior Business Advisor of OCBC, Andrew Tan, Managing Partner of TBV Capital, Ganesh Kumar, Chairman of PIKOM, and many more.
