Coffee chain Kopi Kenangan claims to serve more than three million cups of beverages each month, with revenue growing 20 times from last year.

In June, Kopi Kenangan bagged $20 million in Series A round led by India’s Sequoia.

Over the next two years, Kopi Kenangan plans to add more than a thousand new stores and expand across Southeast Asia.

In October 2018, Kopi Kenangan closed its seed funding round at $8 million from Indonesia’s Alpha JWC Ventures.

“We want to build a legendary brand and we are happy to partner with investors who are already successful in global businesses in sports, entertainment, food and beverages, and technology,” Kopi Kenangan CEO and founder Edward Tirtanata said.
