Singapore’s AI-powered firm raised $9 million from its Series A round, a human insights platform with AI integration raised $9 million from its Series A round led by Nadathur Group.

It will use the fresh fund to develop its capacity for over 200 languages, build training models on more than 100 billion images, and upgrade its video recognition and classification engines.

Founded in early 2018, Quilt’s platform gathers human interactions across social, news, blog, and institutional sources, and search engine trails to guide enterprises in understanding human patterns of behaviour.

As it claims, Quilt had served over 100 clients with huge global companies in the list such as Amazon, Colgate, Procter & Gamble, Accenture, and Visa.

Quilt co-founder Angad Singh Chowdhry said:

“We are using anthropologists, semioticians, and designers to work with engineers, data scientists, and mathematicians. This changes the internet into the largest reflection of the human world and allows us to understand people and culture at a scale never possible before.”
