About Aaron Barbieri-Aghib
Hi! I'm Aaron. I grew up in San Francisco, studied math and biology at the University of Chicago, and eventually went on to work as a software engineer at a high frequency trading firm. After a super fun but somewhat emotionally dissatisfying year and a half, I started Dime with Ben! When I'm not working on Dime, you can find me at the local dog park, swimming in lake Michigan, or getting absolutely wrecked on chess.com (username is 97aa if you wanna play me and feel good about yourself)

Dime lets creators turn their content into unique digital collectibles. Fans can buy items from their favorite artists, trade them on our marketplace, and display their collections on our site. Under the hood everything is secured using NFTs, but we take care of all of that. For creators it’s just like Patreon--except fans get to own a unique digital item in exchange for their support.
