Head of Data

Job Overview As the Head of Data, you will be responsible for developing and governing our data and information strategy in order to drive business decisions and growth. You will develop data procedures and policies, and work closely with various departments to collect, prepare, organize, protect, and analyze data assets while ensuring that the company meets industry best practices. You will also be responsible for defining the roadmap for your team and be responsible for planning and executing key initiatives for data science, machine learning, and product insights. Other duties will include leading inter-disciplinary teams, improving and streamlining data systems within the company, and driving innovation. Responsibilities · Drive innovation on data strategy, analytics practice, and systems improvement. · Designing, building, managing, and optimizing data pipelines and then moving these data pipelines effectively into production for key data and analytics consumers (like business/data analysts, data scientists). · Managing technical teams of data engineering, data analyst, data science, and BI with relevant applications including big data solutions, machine learning capabilities, and BI tools. · Guarantee compliance with data governance and data security requirements while creating, improving, and operationalizing these integrated and reusable data pipelines, to enable faster data access, integrated data reuse, and improved time-to-solution for Koltiva’s data and analytics initiatives. · Implement data privacy policies and comply with data protection regulations. · Create and enforce policies for effective data management. · Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data. · Support others in the daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards. · Effectively communicate the status, value, and importance of data to executive members and staff. Requirements Technical Requirements: 1. Excellent technical skills to demonstrate in all areas of data practice including data engineering (pipeline and data warehouse management), data science, and advanced analytics. 2. Strong understanding of data management fundamentals, including concepts such as data dictionaries, data models, validation, and reporting. 3. Ability to manage a team using data tools to create validation rules (both simple and complex). 4. Ability to lead teams in building dynamic dashboards, reports, and presentations on data quality and data status. 5. Experience managing data through its lifecycle (especially sourcing, validating, and deploying). 6. Experience with different types of databases, including structured and unstructured. 7. Experience querying and manipulating data stored in databases to build reports or dashboards. 8. Experience managing automated systems. 9. Experience using Scrum/Agile development methodologies. Minimum Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Majoring Information Technology or equivalent. 2. Minimum 5 years of management experience in leading a data and analytics team. 3. Ability to prioritize and multitask. Flexibility and adaptability in work approach. 4. Ability to perform effective interaction with a broad range of people and roles. 5. Data Administration Officer

Position The Data Administration Support Officer is integrated into the Operation Department and is working closely with the Implementation Team in the Operation Department. The Data Administration Support Officer's goal is to ensure all support is provided to customers in the form of reports, data checking, and technical support in excellent service standards across all our web and mobile applications. Responsibilities The Data Administration Support Officer is responsible to support all units under Operation Department in terms of data administration and reporting. Specific responsibilities in this role include: • Managing Master data, including creation, updates, and deletion. • Managing users and user roles. • Maintain and update survey data records. • Administer the process on IMS Certification, profiling all of the actors in the supply chain, and helping the user understand the process. • Provide weekly and/or monthly survey progress reports. • Check data accuracy in master data and survey data. • Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets. • Helping develop reports and analysis. • Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata. • Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements. • Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization. • Comply with data integrity and security policies. • Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports. • Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems. • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check the output. • Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines. • Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary. • Collaborate effectively with the development team by creating and issuing bug findings and proposing new features upon request. • Stay up to date with new products and features. • Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems. • Training end-users on new reports and dashboards. • Training end-users on data collectors and farmers' mobile app. • Respond to queries for information and access relevant reports. Requirements • At least two years of experience at the supervisory level in a similar position. • Minimum Diploma 3 from an accredited University or college in Computer Science. • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting. • Experience using statistical tools for data analysis (Excel, SPSS, SAS, Google Analytics). • Strong knowledge and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.), and programming as added value (PHP, JavaScript, or ETL framework). • Experience with MS Office (MS Excel in particular) and data programs. • Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field. • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks. • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations. • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms. • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases. • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases. The Customer Success Officer will play a critical role in the Key Account unit as Koltiva continues to grow internationally. The Customer Success Officer for the Philippines will work remotely, communicating with Koltiva’s main office in Indonesia, and with other remote locations around the world. Responsibilities · Become the client’s day-to-day strategic advisor who understands their business challenges and can communicate the positive business outcomes of working with Koltiva; · Support product/feature handover process from the development team to business users, including specific user training; · Drive adoption and usage of new products and features.
