Payal Jawalkar

An alumnus from IIT Delhi (Batch of 2016) and Co-Founder of AgroWave, believes in creating a dent in the universe by solving key complex problems with simpler and yet effective solutions. Following my graduation, I went on to work at an analytics firm with projects in the area of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. I have always been passionate about entrepreneurship and saw myself working for something meaningful that can contribute to the betterment of society.
My contribution in the Agritech sector has also been recognised at several platforms including SheSparks 2018 by YourStory, WomenPreneur 2018 powered by AIC and NITI Aayog, Winner of Canada-India Acceleration Program 2018, received Award of Honour by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment Government of India for excellent work in fields of Start-ups, Innovation & Young Entrepreneurship.

At Agrowave, I am responsible for building optimized processes for Operations from scratch & incorporating cutting edge technology & analytics in the product that is responsible for disrupting the unorganized agriculture supply chain. It’s been 24 months since AgroWave’s operations in Gurgaon, India and using our high-end technology and analytics, we are already connecting more than 2000 Farmers from Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, UP, Maharashtra & MP with about 600+ Clients including Hotels, Restaurants, Caterers, Retails etc. and around 300+ Traders from local marketplaces. AgroWave is now all set to expand its horizons to other Indian cities starting with Delhi.
I lead a team of 10 Members which are diversified in the fields of Sales, Operations & Supply Chain & Analytics. I am also responsible for the Management of the Tech Product development from scratch.
