About Us

Laudable lets B2B companies turn one happy customer into three new customers. With our SaaS platform and services, we automagically find happy customers, bottle what they're saying, and enable go-to-market teams to use that content to grow.

We're backed by Y Combinator, Greycroft, Craft Ventures, a collection of tech founders and CEOs… and recurring revenue (growing 18% every month) from real paying customers.

We’re a remote team committed to growth, winning, self-reflection, and having fun. We're looking for kind, ambitious, bright, and resourceful humans to join us.

We Want You To Know

You can be a great candidate even if you don't fit everything we describe below. You can also have important skills we haven't thought of yet. If that's you, please apply and tell us about yourself!

We're committed to diversity and building an equitable and inclusive work home for people of all backgrounds and experience. We especially encourage members of traditionally underrepresented communities to apply, including women, people of color, LGBTQ+ people, veterans, and people with disabilities.

What We're Looking For

The Video Project Manager’s mission is to produce fantastic results for and relationships with our clients by creating impactful video interviews and edited content, and providing an easy and delightful process.

You'll work closely with our CEO/Founder, customer success strategist, production coordinator, clients, and creative talent.

This role may be contract-to-hire, or Full-Time.

Responsibilities

  • Project manage the full production process - from initial design to polished final content
  • Conduct interviews remotely, getting into the technical details on setup (e.g. framing the subject) and ask curious and thoughtful follow-up questions
  • Translate client needs and feedback into story arcs and apply them to subject interviews and edited videos
  • Create rough cuts and instructions for editors
  • Communicate with clients, our team, and outside creative (freelance) talent to achieve strict video deadlines
  • Provide editors and production coordinator with ongoing feedback, QAQC, and guide post-production according to Laudable and client brand standards
  • Maintain and improve an effective and efficient production process

You

  • Enjoy creating organized processes and workflows
  • Are confident cutting scripts and distilling 20-30 minutes of content into impactful 2 minute videos
  • Have an eye for detail and are a stickler for design standards
  • Have the emotional intelligence to run an interview with subjects of varying ages, industries, backgrounds, and technical abilities, making them feel at ease and comfortable
  • Are familiar with the B2B, tech, and SaaS worlds
  • Have produced video content and worked with creative talent
  • Are familiar with the Adobe suite and editing software and best practices
  • Think fast on your feet and are able to make quick decisions
  • Are tech savvy - you've picked up new tools quickly, and you're comfortable In Asana, Airtable, Typeform, Calendly, and maybe even Zapier.

Benefits

  • Fully remote team
  • Competitive salary and equity
  • Health and dental insurance
  • Flexible "take what you need" PTO (that we expect you to actually take!)
  • An up-to-date laptop and budget for equipment you need to set up your home office

Working at Laudable

If you join Laudable, you can expect to join a team that believes in:

  • Trust. Our product is evolving quickly and there’s tons of opportunity to create new things nearly every day. We believe in giving our team autonomy to find solutions to problems—technical, architectural, or UX-related—themselves rather than always being directed by a lead or Product Manager.
  • Embracing a “shitty first draft” mindset. Quality and customer delight are both incredibly important, but it’s often even more important to ship something quickly to validate our ideas and iterate using live customer input. We ship frequently and ambitiously, and lean heavily into dogfooding solutions ourselves using draft versions of functionality before polishing for release to our customers to achieve via self-service in our product.
  • Challenging conventions. “It’s always been that way” is not a good reason to do something. We apply that thinking not only when considering a new technology or process, but also to our own decisions. Sometimes decisions we make don’t work out - we have no problem admitting when we were wrong, asking for and filtering advice from smart people, and charting a new path forward if and when we find a better way.
  • Having fun. Creating products people love is fun. Also fun? Facing and overcoming challenges, and building something from nothing. We want our work environment to reflect this. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, and we build fun and humor into our day-to-day.
