Technical Program Manager

About the Role: As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for FlutterFlow, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and timely release of our product features. You will own the management of QA processes, oversee the release cycle, and maintain organized issue tracking systems. Your work will be crucial in delivering a seamless experience to our users by ensuring that all releases are thoroughly tested, documented, and communicated effectively.

Core Responsibilities:

• Engineering Program Management:  
  • Triage and prioritize bugs and internal feature requests effectively, ensuring critical issues are addressed promptly.
  • Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and status reports.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify, track,and resolve defects.
  • Establish and monitor QA metrics to track success over time, ensuring continuous improvement in quality standards.
  • Implement and refine processes to improve project efficiency and team productivity. Advocate for best practices in project management and agile methodologies.
• Release Cycle Management:
  • Oversee the entire release cycle, ensuring features are released on schedule and have undergone comprehensive testing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized issue tracking system, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
  • Handle user-facing changelog updates to keep users informed about new features, improvements, and fixes.
  • Ensure all relevant documentation is prepared and ready in time for each release.
• Tracking and Metrics:
  • Define, establish, and track QA metrics such as regression rate and test coverage to measure the effectiveness of QA processes.
  • Analyze community feedback and public bug reports to identify issue trends and areas for improvement.
  • Report on QA performance and progress to stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas needing attention.
  • Support product in streamlining processes for collecting and analyzing product feedback.
  • Use metrics to drive data-informed decisions and strategies for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager, Product Manager, or similar role in a software development environment.
• Understanding of core engineering concepts (especially frontend development)
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with Flutter and Dart is a plus.
• Familiarity with Flutter and FlutterFlow is a plus.
