Summary
HeyCharge is an early-stage, VC-backed Munich, Germany-based startup specializing in ultra-low-cost, scalable electric car charging solutions for indoor environments like apartment building parking garages, offices, and more. We recently graduated from Y Combinator's Summer 2021 batch.
As our product roadmap and feature design grows more complex, we seek a visionary and capable technical product manager to bring improved depth and quality of execution to each product and feature. You'll be responsible for the entire lifecycle of feature and product development, from identifying opportunities to defining, implementing, and testing the completed product and feature. Then, you'll take the product/feature through the necessary legal, regulatory, and related approvals processes in order to be able to enter our markets around the world.
Responsibilities
- Identify, design, and test product features (as well as entirely new B2C and B2B hardware/software products).
- Maintain feature and product roadmap across HeyCharge product portfolio.
- Identify and execute legal and regulatory steps as required to bring products to market in various countries.
- Work with hybrid remote engineering team to implement features and maintain/improve quality.
- Spend time speaking with customers and potential customers globally to identify and understand pain points and potential solutions.
- Liaise with leadership team to align on product roadmap and priorities.
- Liaise with business development team on commercial models.
Qualifications
- Technical Product Manager or related experience for both hardware and software.
- Ability to conceptualize and design user experience.
- Excellent English and German written and spoken skills.
- Experience with EV Charging is desirable.
- Experience with similar product types (IoT, Bluetooth, embedded + mobile app, etc) is a must.
