TLDR:
We're looking for a Backend Engineer to help us build amazing user experiences and empower creators leveraging the latest web technologies to serve millions of page views every day. We have a very bold vision for the future and we need your help to make it happen.
As a Backend Engineer you will:
- Work together with the entire team, from ideation to implementation
- Design architecture and maintain infrastructure to support billions of events per month.
- Help develop a pragmatic technology roadmap to ensure our app can scale to billions of page views per month
- Build and lead big parts of the product from scratch as one of our first backend engineers
- Build robust monitoring and testing systems to manage uptime
You'll thrive at Beacons if you:
- Have experience as a Backend or Data Engineer
- Are familiar with SQL and noSQL databases
- Have experience developing data architectures such as ETL Pipelines and Data Warehouses and/or Lakes
- Have experience developing distributed systems
- Are familiar with serving high-access consumer web apps
- Have experience maintaining uptime for infrastructure systems
- Have experience with serverless architectures
- Enjoy working at small, fast-paced startups
