What You Will Do
- You will research, prototype and build internal tooling, and CI/CD workflows to support a best in class developer experience
- You will identify gaps in our developer experience and delivery process, and be responsible for driving the strategy and execution to close them
- You will drive adoption, governance and maintenance of both off the shelf and internally built engineering tooling
- You will participate in procurement and evaluation of new engineering tooling
- You will help define and drive improvements in our engineering standards and processes, and codify them as far as possible
- You will help build and maintain internal tooling and dashboards to provide visibility and discoverability of our intellectual property
- You will be comfortable working with a globally with geographically dispersed team, in various time zones
- You will learn, grow, and be challenged. You will speak up and represent your position amongst peers and leadership, while remaining resilient and open to constructive feedback
Requirements
- Proven experience building out automated CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions
- Proficient in Node, Python and C#, and scripting languages such as bash
- Hands-on experience with package managers such as yarn, poetry, Pipenv and NuGet
- Hands-on experience with AWS and containerization using Docker
- Experience procuring, governing and maintaining best of class engineering tooling
- Administrative knowledge of tools such as GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, Codacy, Superset and alike
- Proven success in working in a start-up environment
- Fast and efficient learner and worker
- Excellent problem solving, collaboration, and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with local testing of AWS services using e.g. LocalStack is a plus
- Used to working in an Agile environment
