Role:
- Develop navigation, planning, and control software for autonomous mobile robots in challenging environments
- Analyze complex system requirements
- Translate detailed design architecture into software applications
- Test, debug, and refine software
- Prepare necessary documentation
- Present technology ideas, plans, and results
Requirements:
- One or more years of experience with SLAM or navigation algorithms for drones or mobile robots in either academia or industry
- Intermediate experience with C++ and Python
- Experience with ROS
- Strong computer science background
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent programming skills
- Familiarity with simulation tools
Preferred:
- MS degree
- Familiarity with Visual SLAM, geometric SLAM, lidars, sensor fusion, 3D reconstruction, calibration, and path planning algorithms
