Software Engineer - Robotics

Role:

• Develop navigation, planning, and control software for autonomous mobile robots in challenging environments
• Analyze complex system requirements
• Translate detailed design architecture into software applications
• Test, debug, and refine software
• Prepare necessary documentation
• Present technology ideas, plans, and results

Requirements:

• One or more years of experience with SLAM or navigation algorithms for drones or mobile robots in either academia or industry
• Intermediate experience with C++ and Python
• Experience with ROS
• Strong computer science background
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent programming skills
• Familiarity with simulation tools

Preferred:

• MS degree
• Familiarity with Visual SLAM, geometric SLAM, lidars, sensor fusion, 3D reconstruction, calibration, and path planning algorithms
