Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our presence on various social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and more. You will play a crucial role in developing effective social media strategies, driving user engagement, and building vibrant communities across different channels. The ideal candidate will have experience in not only managing mainstream platforms but also building communities on platforms such as Quora, Telegram, and others.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive user engagement, and grow our social media following across multiple platforms.
- Create and curate engaging and shareable content, including text, image, and video, tailored for each social media channel.
- Manage and maintain our social media presence by regularly posting content, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with the community.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to optimize our social media strategies and campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze key social media metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion, to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, design, and content, to align social media efforts with overall marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Actively build and nurture communities on social platforms beyond mainstream channels, such as Quora, Telegram, and other relevant platforms.
- Identify and leverage social media influencers and partnerships to amplify our brand reach and engage with target audiences.
- Monitor industry conversations and trends, participate in relevant discussions, and position our brand as a thought leader within the industry.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and guidelines related to social media marketing to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in a marketing or digital agency environment.
- Proven track record of managing and growing social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, and others.
- Experience in building and nurturing communities on platforms such as Quora, Telegram, and other relevant social platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media strategies, trends, and best practices across different platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling and engaging content.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms to track and measure campaign performance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas for social media campaigns and initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the fintech industry or other technology-driven sectors.
- Familiarity with organic and paid social media advertising and content promotion strategies.
- Experience with social listening and monitoring tools to identify trends, sentiment, and brand mentions.
- Graphic design skills or basic knowledge of image and video editing tools.
- Active personal presence and engagement on social media platforms.
