ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Platform team. Your responsibilities will range from managing infrastructure (configuration, observability, cost) to setting up automation for our CI/CD processes, to making sure security is a part of everything we do.
Our technical stack is built on top of Docker, K8S, Terraform, AWS services (including Lambda, SQS, RDS, S3), Python, React and other technologies.
Taktile is a hybrid company. It would be great if you can join us in our HQ office in Berlin, but we are also hiring fully remotely within +/- 2h of the Berlin HQ timezone (CEST/GMT+2). Strong grasp of written and spoken English is a must to effectively and clearly communicate in our remote environment. Our hiring model is full-time employment contract.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Work with our AWS infrastructure to continuously improve how we operate.
Integrate security as part of our automation processes, e.g. via CI/CD gates.
Implement automation and observability across infra resources.
Ability to code is a requirement, ideally in Python.
Manage our Kubernetes clusters to maintain high availability.
Bring your own ideas for improving our infrastructure stack and implement them.
Contribute to our operational rotation to react and resolve incidents in production.
Collaborate closely with other engineers across infrastructure, platform and product as we are still a fairly small team where everyone helps each other out and provides feedback.
IDEAL, BUT NOT REQUIRED
B2B or SaaS experience is a strong plus.
