Your Role
We want to bring on a SF Market Lead to drive awareness of and interest in Wefunder in Silicon Valley. In this role, you will build strategic relationships with local angel investors, startup accelerators, and VCs. Our goal is to partner with them on inspiring 20,000 more founders to launch on Wefunder.
- Build strategic relationships with top tier founders, accelerators, incubators, VCs, and prominent angel investors within the Silicon Valley startup ecosystem.
- Foster a thriving community of venture partners, with the goal of cultivating a high quality referral network.
- Sell the referred founders on successfully running Community Rounds on Wefunder.
- Play a pivotal role on Wefunder’s Business Development team as we continue to identify and scale growth levers.
Our Dream Candidate
- You have 5+ years of experience in the Silicon Valley startup ecosystem, such as with a reputable VC or angel group, accelerator, or as a startup founder.
- You have a deep network in Silicon Valley that you can leverage to get intros to the right investor partners.
- You have experience in an early-stage company and know what it takes to be successful in a startup environment.
- You’re passionate about helping more founders succeed.
- You deeply care about leveling the playing field in the US for small businesses and start-ups.
