To support us with robustifying our technological stack and advancing our cloud/on-premise solutions, we are looking for your help.

We are hiring a Senior/Head Backend Engineer.

🎯 Your responsibilities

Lead the development of backend solutions that address customer challenges and drive company growth Own, improve and scale the backend architecture Help shape our technical vision, and the delivery of high-quality, scalable and reliable AI/ML solutions Guide infrastructure efforts such as cloud optimization, monitoring, and CI/CD processes Collaborate with the founders to define product roadmap and gather feedback for future development In the future: Assist the scaling of the system and distributing between different cloud providers.

📚 Our backend stack

-Video processing with ffmpeg and python -Data streaming with Apache Kafka, persistent data storage in MongoDB -Containerized microservices with docker compose -Computer Vision models in PyTorch -GitHub with CI/CD -Processing and storage on Google Cloud and bare metal at customers

🛠 Desired Skills and Experience

-Previous track record of building technical architectures -Proficient in Python development, at least 5 years of experience with object oriented programming -Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable and reliable cloud based software solutions as well as -experience in edge based (on premise) setups. -Experience of working with Google Cloud -Interest or experience in modern MLOps technologies -Confident with Linux/Unix administration -Expertise with logging, monitoring and automation tools -Experience with most of the following technologies: Git, Docker, Apache Kafka or Pulsar, NoSQL database (MongoDB), Kubernetes on cloud (GKE) and on prem -Strong English communication and collaboration skills. -Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. -At least 7 years of experience in software engineering -Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers in the future. -Experience with agile development methodologies. -Hands-on ability is a must. A plus: -Experience with video streaming -Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
