The Role
As an early member of our engineering team you will play a key role in the design and commercialization of our energy systems. You will lead the systems engineering activities to ensure product requirements are achieved, solve complex multi-disciplinary engineering problems, and ensure the successful integration of mechanical, electrical, power, thermal, and control systems into an elegant and functional work of art.
What you'll do:
- Execute program direction, milestones, and deliverables
- Communicate technical issues/roadblocks/solutions
- Perform design quality activities such as DFMEAs, DVPs, ICDs, and RCAs.
- Guide technical direction for complex engineering challenges
- Mentor and train engineers
- Track requirements from product definition through validation to ensure goals are achieved.
Skills to be Successful
- Bachelors in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems or Aerospace Engineering
- Previous experience in requirements management
- Strong Organizational and Change Control Management
- Ability to quickly adapt to change
- Demonstrated execution on real products at scale
- Knowledge of high power electrical systems
- Strong understanding of Energy Systems
- Demonstrated ability to quickly solve complex engineering problems
