About the role
As a Senior Software Engineer (Node.js) you will be one of the most experienced members in the team. You will be taking part in designing solution as well as in implementation. In this role you will be following and advising good practices related to software analysis, design and development. You will be closely cooperating with Tech Lead to follow technical plans and strategy.
You will have opportunity to work on Cloud-native (GCP) software systems based on Microservices and Multitenant architectures.

What will you be doing in this role?
- Making design and architecture decisions around business requirements fullfillment
- Researching and developing new features
- Identify delivery and architecture risks
- Building backend services of an online platform dedicated to developers and shop owners
- Integrating with third-party cloud infrastructure & SaaS providers
- Creating public APIs accordingly
- Improving and working on our software quality
- Writing Unit Tests and user-friendly documentation
- Solving complex architectural problems
- Deliver strictly-typed, scalable, maintainable, and secure code
- Performing laser-sharp code reviews for other team members
What do we expect you to have?
- 5+ years of experience as Backend or Full-Stack developer
- 2+years of experience in Node.js, TypeScript
- Knowledge of design patterns & clean code principles (e.g. KISS, DRY, SOLID).
- Experience with assuring software quality (e.g. TDD, unit tests) and working with CI/CD processes.
- Deep understanding of SQL & NoSQL databases,
- Experience in delivering products from vision to production
- Great experience with shipping to production, deployment, monitoring and observability in Cloud environment (AWS/GCP)
- Nice to have experience with building products using Cloud managed services and serverless
- English B2/C1
