Senior Software Engineer Infrastructure/Backend

We’re looking for a fantastic SF-based generalist engineer who’s comfortable working on a very early product in a quickly changing codebase and role. This is a zero-to-one opportunity to join a founding engineering team to build out the major piece of our platform offering, and beyond.

We are looking for a seasoned and versatile software engineer to work across all backend and infrastructure aspects of the platform: from writing backend services to developing infrastructure as code to manage orchestration and cloud resources.

You should be comfortable with a high level of ownership over product decisions and the tech stack.

Your Role

• Design and develop a scalable global developer platform.
• Build and maintain infrastructure using AWS, terraform, and Kubernetes.
  • System provisioning & scaling, k8s maintenance & stability, CI/CD, testing infra
• Develop backend services and APIs in Python and Golang.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Troubleshoot and improve platform performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Ability and interest to quickly learn new frameworks, architecture patterns, and programming languages as needed
• Track record of delivering large projects, especially
• Self-starting, independent, and deep design thinking.
• Passion for developer tooling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building developer platforms or tools.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Python, and Golang..
