Senior Software Engineer - iOS

Ambient.ai is a computer vision intelligence company transforming security operations for large enterprises by preventing security incidents before they happen. Position Overview:

As the first product engineer on the team focusing on mobile, you will lead the development of Ambient's first iOS application from the ground up. You will be a lead driving iOS application and strategy.

The impact you'll make:

• Implement customer-facing UI that is intuitive, simple, delightful, and optimized for iOS devices
• Guide product roadmap and take ownership of several main components of the product
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and engineering to solve challenging usability problems
• Learn new developments on iOS to improve usability and performance
• Guide the iOS application through the Apple review process
• Create a magical user experience for our customers

The amazing skills you'll bring to Ambient.ai:

• You have an obsession with user experience
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field with a least 5 years of experience building fast and intuitive iOS applications.
• Experience shipping one or more iOS apps, ideally available in the App Store
• Proficiency in Swift or Objective-C and knowledge of various iOS SDKs (UIKit, AppKit, etc.) and Xcode
• Personal projects that show an aptitude for technical excellence or product sensibility
• Advanced analytical thinking and experience making product decisions based on data and A/B testing
• Experience measuring product metrics
• Interest in innovations within the mobile industry

We take a market-based approach to pay here at Ambient.ai, and pay may vary depending on multiple factors. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, level, market conditions, and internal parity. 

Base salary is just one component of our total rewards package. As a fast-growing start-up, our regular employees are also granted stock options, and an opportunity to succeed when Ambient.ai succeeds.  As a young start-up with product market fit, our stock upside is substantial, and a large part of our total rewards strategy. 

The pay scale below represents the starting base salary range we expect to pay for this position, and is subject to change*: 

SF Bay Area:  $133,000- $185,000
