With the rise of BaaS and fintech-enabled platforms, we’re ready to expand our offering to support finance functions for each role within the booking ecosystem - allowing Gigwell to become a white-labeled bank.

Hybrid Role
This position is 2-3 days per week in office.
We’re in the middle of relocation our HQ to Santa Monica/ Los Angeles/ Hollywood.
Requirements
We’re looking for a Senior Engineer to co-lead day to day developement.

- 5+ years of professional web application developement.
- 3+ years of modern javascript front-end frameworks like React, Vue, or AngularJS.
- 2+ years of implementing pixel-perfect designs from mockups or prototypes.
- 2+ years of leading a project or team.
- Proficient with JetBrains IDEs or Microsoft’s VSCode.
- Proficient with git/github or other enterprise source control systems.
Extra Credit
We’re looking to hire people from diverse backgrounds the bring different perspectives to the table. Here’s just a few examples.
- Experience creating mockups or prototypes with Figma, Sketch or Balsamiq.
- Experience shipping mobile apps, native, spa, or hybrid.
- Experience as an artist, musician, or being on tour — bring your knowledge!

Day to Day

Product Engineering - Work closely with the engineering and product team to plan, architect, and implement features across our core product. You'll partner especially closely with the design team, collaborating on UX direction and executing on an aligned vision.

Technical Leadership - Employ software engineering best practices to ensure that our codebase remains well-tested and bug-free as possible. As an early engineer, you’ll have a prominent voice in engineering, design, and company decisions impacting the overall direction of the company.

Customer Success - Work closely with Customer Success to ensure our customers are successful, happy, and engaged. You'll work to understand their workflows and pain points, and always be looking for opportunities to improve their experience to make their jobs easier.

Team and Culture - You will be an active part of maintaining and growing the company culture- we work hard so we can play hard. You will be an active part of Gigwell's outreach to recruit and mentor new team members, cultivating a positive, inclusive and collaborative work environment where we lift each other up.
